deep therapy for Real change

find clarity and momentum again

Welcome

Hi, I’m Mason. I’m a professional therapist and trauma specialist working in Denver and Arvada, Colorado.

Most of my clients began therapy with me because they felt:

  • stuck and frustrated

  • disconnected in relationships

  • internally confused, and

  • overwhelmed with finding a way forward.

You might be here because you’ve begun to realize that lasting change doesn’t come from managing symptoms. Telling yourself to:

  • “try harder,” and

  • white-knuckling it

hasn’t worked up to now, and the truth is that another podcast, YouTube video, or self-help book isn’t going to make the difference, I’m sorry to say.

I help clients get down to the deeper roots of what is causing their difficulties so that change actually holds, and happens from the inside-out.

My approach

I use depth-oriented therapy, which finds the unconscious emotions and beliefs that drive your symptoms, unblocks and unwinds them, and integrates them into your new experience of yourself and others. Symptoms dissolve on their own.

What we’ll work on together

Many clients start therapy with a vague idea of what’s going on, but you can’t find solutions when you don’t understand the problem. So, we’ll begin by

  • Gaining clarity about your problem and what’s at the root of it

But insight alone isn’t enough. Real change happens when the underlying emotions and beliefs are felt, processed, and reorganized in a safe and supported way. So our second step is experiential, by:

  • Accessing and processing emotions and beliefs, rather than avoiding them.

When your mind and nervous system learn that difficult thoughts and feelings can be allowed in without needing to fight against them, old patterns and symptoms naturally dissolve, leaving room for:

  • Finding new and better ways of relating to your past, present, and future self, and others.

When you reconnect with your “true self,” you find yourself able to

  • love more freely,

  • play more freely,

  • and work more freely

And that’s our goal.

Who this works well for

Change is exciting, but it can also feel scary; not everybody feels like they’re in a place yet to go for it, and that’s ok. But depth-oriented therapy works very well for people who are:

  • tired of half-measures and are ready for change

  • curious about why they think, feel, and behave as they do

  • can imagine themselves as they want to think, feel, and behave after therapy.

about me

My name is Mason Fraley. I’m a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist (CCTS-I) with a decade of experience in both clinical and pastoral counseling settings. Outside the therapy room, I’m a doctoral psychology student. I’m deeply curious about people, driven to do what actually works, and I love being a helper. I know what therapy feels like from both sides, and to me, healing is always relational, not just intellectual.
